Girl Scout cookies will be on sale locally Jan. 5-21. So seek out your favorite Allen troop and show your support. Don't worry about the calories - we're all working out as part of our New Year's resolutions, right?
Need an extra incentive? All varieties of Girl Scout cookies are now “zero trans fat per serving,” in accord with FDA regulations.

The Allen Public Library will host a reception at 7 p.m. tomorrow evening to officially kick off a month-long exhibit featuring the works of local artist Ken Bylar. All are welcome.
