Allen Senior Recreation Center will host Lunch and Learn with Carey Coleman, RN from Senior Select Home Health will give a talk titled, Top 10 For a Healthier You at 11: a.m. Monday, Jan. 15 at the Allen Senior Recreation Center, 451St. Mary. Advance registration required. The event is free.

The Allen Sports Association Inline Hockey program will be hosting free player skills clinics on Tuesday, Jan. 23 and Thursday, Jan. 25 at The Edge at Allen Station Park. The clinics are designed to introduce new players to the sport of inline hockey and to help returning players brush up on their skills. Open to all kids ages 6-17. Players ages 6-8 attend from 6 to 7 p.m. and players ages 9-17 attend from 7 to 8 p.m. Protective gear is required. No experience necessary.
Registration for the Spring 2007 inline hockey season closes Wednesday, Jan. 24.
