Allen Senior Recreation Center to celebrate first anniversary

A can't miss for teens - game day this weekend at the library

Allen Public Library will sponsor Teen game day in the meeting room at 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 20 at the library at 300 N. Allen Drive. No registrationis required. Door prizes and refreshments provided. The event is free.

Upcoming gala will be hosted by Steve Stoler, WFAA Channel 8

Avenues Counseling Center will host A Celebration of Healing Gala in honor of their 20th anniversary at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 at The Cotton Mill, 610 Elm Street in McKinney. The gala will include dinner, a silent and live auction and dancing to live music from the Roof Raisers. Steve Stoler, News Reporter for WFAA Channel 8 and Judy Tannery, Honorary Chair will be master of ceremonies. Tables and sponsorships are available. Cost is $125 per person.
