Collin County's Trinity Trail Preservation Association is hosting a work party on a new trail extrension beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday. Meet the crew off Hwy 3268 at the first Lavon bridge coming from Lucas. Volunteers are also asked to bring loppers, gloves, and chainsaws.

Collin County Community College District and the Texas Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers will host the annual Collin Day/Night Transfer Fair from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23 at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E.
