Sign up now for early team registration discounts. For adult basketball and volleyball leagues, register by Wednesday, Jan. 31; for adult softball, Tuesday, Feb. 13, and for flag football, teams have until Tuesday, Feb. 20 to get the best price. Sign up during regular hours at the Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium, 110 E. Rivercrest, or Joe Farmer Recreation Center, 1201 E. Bethany.

Habitat for Humanity Building Foundations Building Lives 2007 Gala hosted by Honorary Chair Jeff Brady of WFAA, Channel 8 News is slated for 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Marriott at Legacy, 7120 Dallas Parkway at Town Center in Plano. The price for this “black tie optional” event is $125. The evening will start with a champagne reception. Enjoy cocktails, dinner, dancing, a live and silent auction. Musical entertainment will be provided by The Rodney Booth Band.
