The Classics Family Theatre Series will present Kennedy Center Imagination Celebration On Tour in Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka, his band of Oompa Loompas, live actors and puppets, at 2 and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28 at The Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Drive in Richardson. Allen Citizens Fire Academy is now recruiting for Spring 2007 firefighting and emergency operations. The 10 weekly class sessions will be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m. beginning Thursday, Feb. 8 and meet at the Ronald Gentry Training Center, 310 Century Parkway. The program is free but limited to 20 participants per session. Deadline to apply is Thursday, Feb. 1.

The Allen Senior Recreation Center trip to Savannah and Jekyll Island will take place April 14-22. Cost is $795. Payment is due by Thursday, Feb. 15.
An Alaskan 8-day/7-night cruise is also planned for May 18-May 25. Price is $1585 per person for an inside cabin, $1798 per person for an outside cabin, and $2252 per person for a balcony cabin. A deposit of $350 is due with registration, with final payment due by Friday, Feb. 16.
