Tomorrow the Allen Public Library will begin its celebration of Black History Month with an exhibit, Ubuntu in Motion, an interactive dance floor installation inside the library’s east entrance. Sunday hours are 1 to 5 p.m. The library is located at 300 N. Allen Drive.

Allen Senior Recreation Center will host a free Lunch & Learn with guest speaker Jimmy Crowder of X Care from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8. The Medicare supplier will discuss issues regarding Medicare Part B coverage and answer questions. Lunch will be provided. Registration is required.

Puttin' on the Hitz, a musical journey featuring the best of the 1200 plus songs written in the lifetime of Irving Berlin opens at 7:30 p.m., today, Feb. 3, at Faubion Middle School, 2000 Rollins Street in McKinney. Attendance is by Season Membership only. Tickets are not sold to individual concerts. Adults $95, students $25, and family $215.

Rover Dramawerks will present Private Eyes at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Cox Building Playhouse, 1517 H Ave. in Plano.
The play is a comedy of suspicion in which nothing is ever quite what it seems. Set in a psychiatrist's office, where the audience plays the role of detective.
