The Volunteer Center of North Texas will host The 27th Annual Volunteer of the Year Awards Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 17 at the Plano Centre, 2000 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Collin County volunteers will be honored for their service in 2006. Tickets are $25.

Allen Community Outreach will host the Fifth Annual Wine Masters fundraiser at 7 p.m. Friday, March 16 at Heritage Ranch Golf and Country Club, 465 Scenic Ranch Circle in Fairview. The Arts of Collin County Commission will sponsor a public forum to discuss the planned arts park and hall at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 21 in the City Council Chambers of Frisco City Hall, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. BOORA Architects and other members of the design team will present the final design and construction plans for the 2100-seat hall, outdoor performance meadow and stage, sculpture garden, creek and trail improvements, parking, and site improvements. Groundbreaking for site improvements is anticipated for late 2007.

The Allen Chamber of Commerce Women in Support of Enterprise and Presbyterian Hospital will sponsor a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Hilton Garden Inn, 705 Central Expressway South. Chef Michael Youngblood will talk about quick and healthy meals. The cost is $20 for members and $45 for non-members.
